Greetings from the Bay!

After finishing one degree in philosophy from Brown University and another in Printmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Ellen has recently moved to California’s Bay Area with her husband, Andrius.

A printmaker by training and Adobe suite master / blog administrator for Cathy Heck Studio, Ellen is one of the people who take Cathy’s beautiful illustrations and put them on products that you can find in stores.

Lucky enough to be born the daughter of an artist, Ellen grew up at Cathy’s side (and using Cathy’s Eden of a studio) from an early age. Having been a summer employee since age 14, she enjoys her post-academic life and being able to dedicate full days to exciting design work for the studio.
